Two must having amazing apps

Free is always good. Free money? Even better! Can you believe there are apps you can install where you can make real free money without having to do anything?

I'm not talking about survey apps where your spend hours doing surveys only to get told you didn't qualify our to make pennies. Let's be honest, those are a waste of time.

The apps I listed below cost you nothing! Not even time. Except of course the time to download.

The first one is Embee. You install the app and that's it. You get points everyday for just having the app. Once a month you can earn bonus points for answering questions about your cell phone service. The app asks the same questions every month and gives a bonus for your answers.

Now it does have surveys which was added last year but you don't have to enable them. I have personally had this app for over two years and I love it. I'm on my third phone since them and its been on every one I've had. It gives Gift cards which I use on amazon but it also has virtual visa cards, which I have also gotten. My best friend has the app and cashes it out at Christmas time. She loves the fact she doesn't have to do anything and at the end of the year gets help for the holidays. She's got 5 kids so it's perfect for her busy life.

The second app I wanted to share is GetUpside. How it works is it gives you money back per gallon of gas you but at one of the participating gas stations. Once you claim an offer, you have 4 hours to get gas and take a picture of the receipt. It analyzes the receipt and credits your account the total. It has options for cashing out from gift cards to even a check. So since you have to get gas anyway why not get money back from it? Depending on your area they have more options like fast food. It's just smart to have an app that gives you money back on things you buy anyways.

Mobile Bloggers Bestfriend

A lot of people blog for money while others blog for fun. If you are one of the many that link to add links to your blog or websites then you know it can be a pain typing out the HTML code to embed that link.

I myself add links to my pages and I will be completely honest, I am lazy. I like things to be done quick and easy without having to do them again. And having to do things over and over, forget it.

That was when I decided to look for a code generator. I didn't search hard. I went to google play and typed in HTML code generator. At the time I found 1. And it did not have good reviews. Until I came across a simple app that made it easier for me to write my blog from my phone.

It can't get any more easy than this. I add the link and the text I want it to say and with one click, there's my HTML code. I love this thing. It truly has been a life saver. And for that, I am sharing my find with you.

Product testing - How to Get Stuff for Free or Cheap

As you may have read in my previous post, I love Amazon Prime!

I love Amazon because I love free shipping, which you get if you’re a prime member. 

With Amazon Prime you do get a free month to try it and after that it is 11.99 or 5.99 for Amazon Prime for EBT users. If you buy a lot on Amazon, which I do during the holidays, it is totally worth it.

Using this combined with product testing sites, you can easily get your Christmas or even year round shopping done for almost nothing! My favorite site is ExtremeRebate. 

After signing up and entering your amazon profile, you look through the deals and request them. 

Once you are approved, you make the purchase and submit the order number to ExtremeRebate and after the seller confirms, you receive a refund to your Paypal. 

And just like that, the deal is done and I have the product I needed and the money refunded back to my Paypal. This is by far the easiest and safest way so get products for cheap or even free.

8 things you definitely need for baby

One point of writing a blog is to help others. This is done in many ways. I like writing my blog because I deal with a lot of different things on a daily basis. I am a mother of two very active little boys. I not only write about my experiences with them but I read a lot of other blogs about raising kids and mom life. I have seen a lot of blogs and posts about products you were told you needed for baby but didn’t actually use.

So here is my response to all of those. Here is my list of products that I have bought and used and liked or even loved. These are my honest opinions on things. **I am not being paid to write reviews for these items. I just actually like them and thought I would share. 1. The Diaper Bag

I was handed down a few with both of my kids and they always fell apart within a few months. Unless you are getting stuff from people who barely use it, it’s not going to last. So I finally gave in and actually bought one (after using a drawstring bag for a little bit…).

I love this thing because it’s so spacey. I not only carry things for the baby, but for his brother as well, who is 4. I like having an extra change of clothes for him just in case.  With all the pockets it has (11 in total) I have a place for everything I like to carry. Including my phone!! And Ladies, if you’re worried about dad not wanting to carry a diaper bag, this thing is dad friendly.

2. The Changing Mat

While the diaper bag I got comes with a changing mat, I like to have this in my car as a just in case. I tend to pull out the changing mat when I am home and forget to put it back in, so carrying one in the car at all times saves me from my forgetful mind. It folds up nicely and has a place to carry travel wipes and diapers so you can do a quick run to the store or go for a walk since it clips onto a stroller, without having to carry the large diaper bag and not have to worry about being stuck without diapers for your little one. This thing has saved me I don’t know how many times.

3. Baby Spoons

I know what you’re thinking, baby spoons? But yes, because they are not just any baby spoons. These are amazing. They are heat sensitive so they change colors if you put them in hot food. They are great to have on hand.

If not for anything other than sometimes you don’t feel the inside of say mashed potatoes. I just did this the other day. We had mashed potatoes for dinner. I had some in a bowl for my baby and touched them with my finger. They felt warm enough to feed him so I got a small spoonful and attempted to feed them to him. He spit them out with this look on his face. So I took another spoonful and ate them myself. They were hot in the middle!!

Now I know what you’re thinking, I have the spoons so how did I not know, right? I wasn’t home!! I was at my friends’ house and I was using one of her baby spoons. Oh I felt so bad for burning my baby’s mouth.  So of course I cooled them down before trying to feed him again. But had I been smart enough to put just one out of the pack in his diaper bag, I wouldn’t have done that. I would have known they were too hot for him. So needless to say when I got home I grabbed one and tossed it in his diaper bag. 

4. Musical Birthday Cake

So my youngest just turned 1 last week. He is my last and he was a preemie so I’m very over protective of him. I was window shopping on Amazon when I came across this light up birthday cake. It was perfect! Not only does it sing happy birthday but there are 5 candles on it and depending on how many times you press the button, the candles light up one at a time. So him turning one, we set it to one. It has a spot for the baby to blow into to ‘blow out’ the candles. It made stress of baby being too close to fire, go away.

It is also fun for them to play with after the party. My 4 year old loves playing with it still and because it can go up to 5 candles, we will be using it at his birthday next year. I love this thing. Everyone at the baby’s first birthday has decided they want me to bring it to their little ones parties.

5. Baby locks

I never had to worry about baby proofing with my oldest but with my last one, he is into everything! He likes to stand under me at the kitchen sink and open the cupboards, which has the standard under the kitchen sink chemicals in it. He is just so curious about everything. I saw these and thought oh cool they come with the bumpers too.

The night I got them I put them on the main cabinets I have been having baby issues with. They went on so easy. There was no fuss except from the four year old who likes to get into one of the cabinets himself. But I put it up high enough that he can’t reach and now I don’t have to worry about him getting into things either, which is nice. Plus they open so easy. I can pop it open get what I need and snap it closed without having to fight with anything. 

6. Outlet Covers

These are a great buy because you get a ton of them and you never realize how many you actually need until you start putting them on. These even come with keys so no bigger hands can help take them off. 

7. Baby Bowls

We have all been there with our little ones, gave them a bowl and next thing you know, they tipped it over and are wearing it on their heads like a hat. No more with these. Such a life saver and floor saver!! It makes feeding themselves easier because they can’t get the bowl up to play with it so they actually eat, and so do you.  These bowls are perfect for the babies in the transition to learning to feed themselves.

They also come with lids so you can pack them in the diaper bag and stick them to any table you happen to stop at. They’re also great for taking dry snacks in when you’re going out to a restaurant. Pop this onto the table and no more fussy baby while you’re waiting for your food. 

8. Wipe Warmer

You will hear mixed reviews about wipe warmers but I will tell you now, this thing saved me. My son was a preemie and had trouble maintaining his body heat. I live in the Midwest where it gets cold and snows during the winter. My son was born in October and while it was warm the week he was born, it wasn’t when we got to take him home.

Having the wipe warmer helped him from freezing when I had to change his little butt. I do not use it during the summer but this is going on winter #2 with him and it’s already getting cold so I have pulled it out and am using it again. So if you live anywhere it gets cold and even snows, I highly recommend one. Your little one will appreciate it.

Empowr Review - Legit or Scam?

So I was told about this website where you can make money off of social media. I figured I would give it a try. This is what I have found.

The site is VERY confusing. You can get no help what so ever. Every answer you get from your ‘coach’ will be scripted and that is if they don’t just pass you off to the next person.

They talk a good game about the amount of money you can make but as you can see, you cannot get the money. In fact from what I have learned, until you get a 90 day cash out, everything is FREE. Once you hit that 90 days and have a matured balance, you all of a sudden have to pay money for advertising.

You can sell things like on Ebay with the whole auction thing, HOWEVER, you do not see any of this money. So you are basically spending money to give things away.

The way this whole thing works is all money is first in, first out. So say you earn 100$ a day for the first 5 days. After 5 days your balance says 500$. But you have to wait for 90 days before it will mature and you can cash out. In the mean time, you’re paying, from that balance, advertising fees. So if after day 10 you have 600$ in ad fees, that 500$ you had is now gone and your 90 days starts over.

Now within my first month I did somehow get a small cash out for a total of 13.25. Honestly, I have no clue how and have not had one since. In order to get this paid to me I had to put my PayPal information in. I created a new PayPal, added a card with a 0$ balance that would not be charged, and connected it. Within the process of connecting your PayPal to this site it will have you agree that they can take money out whenever they want (in not such plain terms). I was able to cash out.

I then removed the card, removed their permission, and unlinked the PayPal.  Now before all of this they have you ‘verify’ yourself. You have to verify your email. I had done this, obviously, since I was able to cash out. But since I have removed their access to my money, they bug me over and over that I need to verify. I have not and will not do it again.

Another thing to watch out for is if you use your email to sign up that has all your contacts, it somehow gets your contacts and emails them. I would show you a screenshot but I have deleted them all.

So in My Opinion this site is one big SCAM!!! DO NOT GIVE YOUR PAYPAL OR CREDIT CARD TO THIS SITE!!!

The Truth about MCA Work From Home

I am sure that many of you have heard about making money with MCA. You have probably heard “Turn 40$ into 80$” and some other things along with pictures of stacks of money. 

Well I am here to tell you the truth about the system and how it works.

I have been signed up on MCA for a few months now and have not made a dime. Why? You ask. Because I refuse to scam people out of their hard earned money, that's why. I also cannot sell to save my life. But I will tell you what you need to know about the program so you can make an educated decision on if you want to start with the company.

First of all, YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY A DIME to sign up to sell the program. Anyone trying to recruit you will tell you that you have to pay 40$ to get started. This is NOT true!! It is completely free to start selling the program. I am going to explain why they tell you this.

As you can see there are three different programs to sell. The most expensive one is 40$. As you can see below, the 40$ is for the first and last month with it being 19.99$ per month after that.

So ask yourself, if you sell the most expensive membership for 40$, why do they pay you 80$? Here is what the people trying to sign you up don’t tell you. Below is the screenshots from the websites FAQ page so you can review them yourself.

How do Chargebacks work?

Whenever a member cancels then a chargeback on the original sales may be applicable. On the MCA Total Security membership you can receive an advance commission of $80 (plus additional bonuses of up to $10 based on sales volume) which is approximately 17 months worth of earned commissions. If a member cancels in their 10 month, then you would be charged-back the remaining 7 months which have not been earned…or 7 x $4.62 = $32.34. This chargeback is taken from any existing commissions due you for the week. If you have 15 commissionable and processable Total Security sales that week, you will receive a bonused for any chargebacks you had that week, otherwise your total chargebacks cannot exceed 50% of your check for a given week.

If a member call and request and are granted a full refund, that is not considered a chargeback, it is considered a no-sale and is not subject to the rules listed above. Any commissions that have been paid related to a no-sale are charged against future commissions. 

Now, TVC/MCA is a good company for their benefits. If you sign up to sell, you can sell the membership and yes get paid. However, if any of your customers cancel, YOU OWE THE COMPANY MONEY. So while the company itself is not a scam, the people trying to promote it as a get rich work from home, are.

I am going to say this again, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY MONEY TO WORK FOR MCA.

Here is a little more information on how the commission’s work:

For every membership you sell as an Independent Sales Associate, you will automatically earn an $80.00 commission. Anyone who enrolls under your account by Saturday night, you will be paid on the following Friday. MCA pays by Direct Deposit only. You must have a bank account to be paid. Like most companies, mailing out checks is old technology. Please keep in mind, you have no quotas to meet, and you can sell as many memberships as possible. MCA Associates have been known to sell anywhere from 1-120 Memberships (per week), but more realistic sales numbers are listed below.

9 apps that you can download and start earning today!

With how expensive things are now a days having a full time income still isn't enough sometimes. But who wants to get a second job and be away from home longer than they have to?

This is why I have put together a list of apps, that I use myself, that give you money for doing little to nothing. Now none of these apps will make your rich and if they claim to be, they are most likely a scam.

Here is the information I have gathered:

1. Embee

All you have to do is download the app and let it run. Every day you get 10 points, for doing nothing. You can send it to your friends and if they register you can earn an additional 200 points. Once you get so many points you can trade them in for gift cards. If you are in need of money, they do have a Visa gift card, which I've already redeemed and used.

Cards range from 100 meter points for a 1$ card to 2500 meter points for a 25$ card.

2. Panel App

This one is like the first one, download it and let it run. You get points daily for your location. It will also have a 'survey' in which it asks you were you where at a time earlier and shows a map. This could be your home or even a store. From what I've seen so far you get 5 points for that.

You also get points and levels for referring people using your link but I haven't used it yet.

Gift card amounts range from 1000 to 20000 points.

3. Robinhood

I love this app. It is great for people who want to invest money and don't know where to start. It also great because when you download the app and set up your account, you get a FREE stock which can include an Apple, Ford or Sprint stock. And you don't have to do anything but but create an account.

4. PayYouselfie

For this so you do have to do something. Take selfies! It gives you a list of the types of selfies it wants and how much you can earn for each one. It's actually fun to do and doesn't take long to do them.

They range anywhere from .20 cents to 1.00. Once you have $20, you can cash out to PayPal.

5. The Walmart App

If you go to Walmart it is smart to download the Walmart app. After you cash out at Walmart you scan your receipt in the savings catcher part of the app. It will them search for deals for the things you have bought. If they find a cheaper price at another store, you get the difference.

With this you can only use the money back with Walmart. But you can set up Walmart pay and it will automatically transfer your savings into a gift card within the so that you can use at any check out or online.

There is no minimum cash out.

6. Ibotta

I know some of you have already heard of this app but it needs to be mentioned. You can use it along with the Walmart app.

To earn money on this one you look through the rebates they have for the stores around you. You add the rebate that you want to your 'my rebates'. Once you buy what's in your list, you redeem your rebates within the app and watch the amount add up.

Once you got $20 you can cash out to PayPal.

7. Qriket

Qriket is a live spin game that you can play for free three times a day, Monday through Friday. You watch ads to earn spins and every game costs 5 spins.

Each round you choose a color: blue or gold. Each round has an amount you can win. Anywhere from .05 cents to up to 25$. The winner earns 200$, if there's more than one, they share the 200$.

This app gives you free PayPal gift cards with a little work. All you have to do is tap the box. It starts a counter at 1 Million clicks. So yea it will take a while to get to the gift card but all it takes is tapping. I usually let me 4 year old tap it till he gets tired. And they do have ways you can go down multiple clicks at a time. It's worth a chance.

Bonus:

Square is a cash app that gives you 5$ when you invite your friends to try it. The cool part is, you AND your friend get 5$. So it is a free 5$ just for checking it out.


Circle is another ash app like Square that will give you 5$ when you invite your friends. The catch with this one is they have to link their account and send 25$ with that account within the first two weeks for you to receive the referral bonus.

These are all apps that have proven to work for me. If I find any more I will add them as they are tested. I hope they help you as much as they have helped me.
